Merk America also insures all of its packages for the full amount so you never have to worry. Please be aware every package requires a signature. For all International orders, you must be present for delivery. For Domestic orders, if you are unable to be present for delivery, you have the option of holding the package at your nearest FedEx location.
Returns and Exchanges
All of our items come with a 7 day no questions asked return policy. If for any reason you are not happy with your system, you have 7 days from the order date to request a no questions asked return. (Usually you will know in the first half hour). Read more...
After those 7 days are up, we offer a return with 25% restocking fee up to the 14th day after initial delivery date for systems returned in exact same condition as shipped. Returns for damage or malfunction need to be addressed within those first 14 days, after that all sales are final.
If damaged during shipping and the box shows damage, we will request that insurance forms are completed. Damaged in shipping items will not be returned immediately for a full refund until the claims process is completed.
We photograph all computers upon leaving our warehouse for inspection. In the event you receive your computer and there is a problem, please contact us no later than three business days after arrival.
We will do our best to solve and correct any issues we can. Due to the volatile nature of the computer industry, we do not do post sales price matching. In order to proceed with a return of the product we require you to have your item independently verified by Dell technical support to address the specific issue.
We sell manufactured and new laptops at significantly discounted prices, so our policy is to address all issues first with Dell technical support department. If you fail to complete this step and return your computer, we will charge a 25% restocking fee per the terms you agreed to upon purchase in this policy stated here. Any returns should be in the same condition as they were shipped out, and there should be no missing parts, CDs, chargers, etc.
Those missing products will be charged to you at the current market rates +15%. We obtain the right to refuse any returns for any reason. If a buyer contends a chargeback of a PayPal dispute escalation to a claim and loses, the buyer will not be refunded and the sale will be stated as final. The buyer will pay for all return shipping unless the independent party verifies defects or damage.
Returning an item?
All returns require a Merkamerica return authorization. To do so please email hello@MerkAmericaco.com. The return shipment must be received within seven business days of the authorization. Ship the product in the original shipping carton with the Return Authorization printed on the outside of the shipping carton to:
